75x8505c wall mount

I recently purchased a new Bravia 75X8505c and plan to wall mount it once some remodeling is completed in my house.  As such, I've not yet taken the TV out of the packaging.

According to several electrical stores I need to buy an adapter/Sony accessory to safely mount the TV.  Having checked the Sony site for the TV it shows "SU-WL450 Wall-Mount Bracket" as the approved accessory.  However, on the specifications for the WL450 it states "The perfect fit for BRAVIA LCD TVs sized 32” to 65".

My question(s)

1 - does anyone know whether WL450 is indeed compatible with the 75" TV

2 - can anyone recommend a simple, low profile, mount?

Hi there

Looking at the VESA specs for your TV, it appears that your TV will use any VESA wall mount where the mounting screws are 400 x 300

It does say that the WL450 is for 32" to 65"

Yeah - that is also what I have been able to find.  It is the fact they recommend WL450 on the 75" accessories which is confusing/concerning me.

I've just called their support line and apparently it is only the VESA compatible mount which is required so fingers crossed they are correct.
