Hi All,
I set up my PS4 pro yesterday to be told that my TV only supports HDR in 2K only, Is there to be another firmware update to change this (I have the latest update installed), a setting I'm missing or have I effectively been ripped off?
Cheers

Hi DrCalypso,
Yes, I had this already set I'm afraid.
I've been on the phone with support, they sent through a list of things to try - ultimately, turn it off, turn it back on, factory re-set. None worked. So now I'm waiting for them to investigate. .within 48hrs... So I'd suggest you also phone up, as more calls should help highlight the problem - unless of course we've been mislead!
WINNER:smileythumbsup:
Just swapped to HDMI2 and:
Sorry for the seriously late reply!
Nice to see that it worked for you, too!
Now i just have to find the right image presets/settings to properly enjoy HDR
If you have any recommendations, i'd love to hear them.
Cheers,
I have changed my settings to Enhanced mode and it still says 2k only 😞

And you have the PS4 connected to HDMI port 2 or 3?

You're a star mate!
I've just done the usual low brightness, high contrast. I've got the black adjust on low, as I've found it helps sharpen up the contrast a bit, and I have the Live colour on high which has added a noticeable depth of colour for me - but I'm no expert
this is what mine is saying! have you come up with a soulation? i have enchanced my settings for hdmi i am on game mode for picture and i amd in HDMI 2
Swapping over to HDMI 2 was the solution for me.
I would double check all the basics:
That your TV has the latest firmware update.
You're using the correct HDMI cable, the one that came with the Pro.
Double check that it is in HDMI 2 or 3.
Check the PS4 video settings are to auto.
If all OK, try turning off and unplugging the TV and PS4 for a minute and then back on. Otherwise I'm stumped, so I would suggest contacting Sony themselves.
