Transfering photos between A6000 and linux PC

Has anyone had any success transferring photos from the A6000 to a Linux PC ? It seems like Sony have made it impossible !

A search for Linux , Sony camera WiFi might bring some clues.

First step is to connect your camera to the home network.

Just stumbled upon the solution.

In fact it's quite simple.

Use a python script airmtp.py.

Download the zip to your home directory or anywhere, unzip and run the script.

- Set USB of your camera to MTP

- Connect your camera to your home WiFi.

- Start Send to computer

- Find the IP address of your camera

- Off you go
