Sony A 99 II

Hi 

I have got about a year the Sony A99 II I Can not make pin sharp pictures Its only 30% of images its acceptable sharp. The Camera body has some problem I have tried everything with Minolta lens  with The Sony 70-400 G ssm 2 lens I got the same result .

How is it on manual focus?

its little bit better but hard to say .I`m trying see what settings i can use .I do not know  what can be the problem

Im assuming that the camera and lenses you mentioned have performed ok up till now?

I have had a similar problem, first of all is your Camera still under warranty? If not it will cost you to get it checked by Sony and if anything needs to be done an estimate will be given for the repair.

I purchased a factory refurbished A99m2 and it had a faulty autofocus unit which was replaced under the warranty this improved things but I was still getting soft images, the camera went back again and the plane shift was re-adjusted again under warranty Images are now sharp. I use 70-400G2 most of the time.

Hi

I have sent to Sony repair center for check They found faulty  sensor and something else so hopefully will be ok now. Still did not send it yet also they calibrate thevlens for the camera.

I`m just not happy with Sony A99II .Few months after came back from repair centre  still is not what I expected from this camera. 

No sharp pic ! Maybe I made a mistake to trust Sony cameras !
