manual required

can anyone help i am trying to play some v8 tapes but am unable to get my model ccd-f550e to work and dont have the manual

Hello pdango42 - welcome to the Sony Forums.

Because of the age of the camcorder, there doesn't seem to be an electronic version of the manual posted online. I would advise giving the Sony Customer Support line a call to see if they have any further information.

Taking a look at Google may be slightly tricky as the majority of search results seem to be for replacement batteries for this model as opposed to information about the camcorder itself.
