I feel very stupid. I bought my first sony camera and a couple of lenses in january, to take advantage of the cashback offer, and after waiting the 30 days, i got round to filing the claim last week, but i could no longer find the form and realized i was 4 days too late - i had not been aware that there was a deadline for submitting the claim. I know, read the small print. But given that i had made the purchase during the required period, which should be the point of the offer, I had hoped Sony might still consider my claim, but I emailed them and just got a "sorry". Has anyone managed to get any good will from them in cases like this or should I just forget it?
That's unfortunate, i think that since you're already out of the claiming period by a bit it would be hard to get good will but it won't hurt to try, you might wanna contact them again to check if such option is available.
