Is anyone else having trouble with the Sony ILCE-M74 (A7 IV) software upgrade?

Is anyone else having trouble with the Sony ILCE-M74 (A7 IV) software upgrade? The message says to upgrade from Ver 1.01  to Ver1.05 before installing Ver1.10 or you can freeze the camera functions. But there is no link to Ver 1.05?

Hi @peterduffphotography  and welcome to the UK Community

If you click on update Version 1.10 you should then see a screen that explains

the precautions to you and offers version 1.05 first if your current version is 1.01 or earlier.

There is NO live link to Ver 1.05 as I thought I'd do that as we await a modified 1.10.

Hasn't this update been suspended due to issues?

Hi guys, the update is suspended due to a bug, Sony engineers are working on a solution.

The bug is in the older version V1.05 too - surely not? Just the new one right?

Hey Vasilis_Karras, as far as I know for sure from Sony support directly it's only the 1.10, I don't think the previous version had any issues.
