A7riii and Play Memories Apps

Hello, I have used an a7sii with a number of Pay Memories apps (time lapse, star trail etc) for years.

i have just bought a A7riii and also updates my mobile software to image editing, or whatever it’s called.

does anyone know if I can use my play memory apps in my 7riii ??? I can’t seem to work it out ??

Hi Tony,

Congrats on your new A7RM3. Sadly, it doesn't support Playmemories camera apps like the A7SM2.

slightly off point, but maybe someone can help.
i recently got into photography and bought an a7sii which i love. but it seems the apps are mostly discontinued, such as star-trail, time lapse and motion shot..

i there any way of getting hold of those updates? the site was keen enough to take my money for the right to access the frimware, and even says it'll be accessible until next year. but there doesn't seem to be a way of downloading those "end of sales" particular files..
