Hi,
I made my first video last weekend, all good. Now wanting to make more. For some reason I'm having an issue adding music to the background. From my library of songs, by far the majority I click won't load on. A few do but not many. I don't understand why. All songs are mp3 format. What can the issue be?
Thanks,
Kristo

Hi Kristmas ,
Could you try a different format like.wav or .flac or something to see if the issue is related to the format of the songs or not?

Hi Kristmas,
Could you ensure that the computer you're using is running one of the compatible operating systems listed here: https://bit.ly/2tmzdEg ?

I confirm. I am running 64-bit Windows 10.
Spec definitely covers requirements and I am plugged in.
Edit: Is nobody else honestly experiencing this issue? Is there someone from sony I can get in touch with? I'd like to keep using Sony's software as it's quite easy and convenient but no way is that the case if I can't add songs on. Aside from my footage, it's the most important thing for actual video creation. I've already tried Windows Video Movie Maker 10 and Openshot. Of course, both allow me to add any song I want. But Windows one doesn't allow trimming videos while music plays so it sucks and I'm currently trying out Openshot. I'd think it's in Sony's interests to have people use their own software so it's frustrating that an issue like this would exist with no quick fix. This shouldn't even be an issue.
Thanks for the suggestion The_Black_Rose. Audio format is the case. Actually sumbled on this myself last night after trying yet another software and it was having the exact same issue of only being able to add the exact same songs. It works with .waw. Odd but that's what it is.
