Xperia 5ii Unable to adjust Loudspeaker or switch back to private call.

Hi could anyone help with my Xperia 5ii please? So usually I opt for loudspeaker to make calls unless they are private. When I start a call, it does as expected using the normal private call/ non-loudspeaker. I then press the loudspeaker button, and talk using that instead. 

The issue I am having is despite using the Volume buttons and seeing the call volume bar increase and decrease on the screen, it has no effect on the volume of the loudspeaker which stays at very high volume. The other issue is when turning off loudspeaker to go back to a private call, despite pressing the loudspeaker button to stop it, it remains on???

Just updated to latest version 58.0.A.25.28 and android version 10.

Can you try uninstalling the update for the phone app itself? you can do that from the Play Store I believe.

Sorry nope, not from Play Store, updates are uninstalled from settings >> apps and notifications >> find and press on the app icon >> More >> Uninstall updates.

Is there a know issue with the update?

Not sure, but a friend of mind had the same issue, and was cured after he uninstalled updates. Did it work for you?
