Double tak to sleep

Hi there!

This is rather a wish than an issue, but... Is it possible, that SONY reads this forum and could bring back the double tap to sleep function? This was really a useful feature, let me explain: I am used to connect my 5 to the car bluetooth and the only way to put it to sleep when it is in a stand is everytime to put it up and press the power button. It is kind of annoying. I am coming from XZ and yes, I heard that this model was the last one to have this feature. But still... What do you think?

As you briefly mentioned, Xperia XZ was one of the last models that had Double-tap to wake before the feature was discontinued in 2017, so it is not possible to use Double-tap to wake on your Xperia 5. There may however exist apps in Play Store that has this feature, keep in mind though that Sony does not warrant or guarantee the performance of any third-party apps.

Thank you very much for the answer! I know about this, but I do not want to use any third party apps for this. I just hope that SONY would bring this convenient feature back. Double tap to wake is kind of obsoletw, as we now have ambient displays. But double tap to sleep is kind of irreplaceable feature.
