Do not disturb not switching off

My do not disturb is not switching off when I use an automatic rule. If i activate the rule sleep, it will turn on do not disturb at 22.00 but when the time reaches 6.00 am and it should turn off, it do not turn off? 

This is the same if I create a new rule..

Anybody got some idear what to do to fix it?

Sony / I could not solve this, so I sold the phone and bought a google pixel 4xl instead. 

So either live with this very anoying fault or return and buy another brand of phone.

OK I just did an experiment and I created a rule that started at 20:35 and ended at 20:36, it worked perfectly. My theory is that the developer who wrote this possibly got the timing wrong when the end time is earlier in the day than the start time. Of course it says it will be the next day but then never turns it off. So I am going to try to create a DND schedule from 10:30 until 11:59 and another from 00:01 until 06:00 and see if that worked.

Sony told me to just reset my device but that seems very much like hard work for nothing.

In the default duration, does it say, "until you turn off", as the default setting?

If so, it's a bug between the time on and off, and that setting, as that setting does not allow you to pick the time, only +- 1 hour in steps or until you turn it off, not time based like the other setting.

OK yesterday I created a short schedule lasting one minute and it worked. So I created two new schedules, one from 22:30 until 23:59 and one from 00:01 until 06:00 and this morning the DND turned off correctly. However yesterday a single schedule of 22:30 until 06:00 the next day did not turn off. I'll keep an eye on this and see if it keeps working but it's a little naff to have to do this.
