***No repair suggestion works***
Or you make your work really, really bad!!!!
So many People has the same Problem at the same time.
NO MORE SONY PRODUCTS -> EVER!!!!!
My Z3 Compact has the same problem. At the top and at the very bottom, the touch screen is no longer what makes the smartphone useless.
It must not be that the problem everyone has and Sony does not do anything with it.
That's why I buy the Sony Geraet never more and that would be a suggestion for all.

Xperia Z3 compact bought 3 years ago and I have the same problem: line of notifications impossible to get down and now (one month more ** bleep **) the 3 keys down do not respond. Always used with care and never fallen.
I was very happy with my Z3 until this planned obsolescence event. Today I am angry and disappointed with Sony for 2 reasons:
- a smartphone at 450 € (at the time) that breaks down after 3 years, it's not terrible
- Sony does not recognize the manufacturing defect of its compact Z3, the repair is therefore at our expense
One thing is for sure, I would not replace my Z3 with a Sony and I will express my dissatisfaction to my friends.

I understand your frustration but are you saying that for 3 years your phone worked fine and now, it has a touchscreen issue?
Hi @YJLB83, I am very sorry to hear about what has happened to your Xperia Z3 Compact.
Have you had your device delivered to an authorized service center? Our warranty does cover manufacturing defects, but please note that it could be the case that the warranty does not extend for a full 3 years in your market. It would be best to get in touch with your Local support to raise your concern, as warranty terms, service routines and consumer laws vary on a market to market basis.
To answer to your question: I bought my XPeria in SFR store.
Regards
The last three Sony's I've had have had this bug. I will never buy Sony again.
@YJLB83, Thank you for the information. What I meant to write was, did you have your device delivered for repairs?
I have same problem with my z3 compact, can barely type anything unless turn phone to landscape
Hi @Z3ruop, I am sorry to hear about that.
Have you had an opportunity to try the troubleshooting mentioned in this thread?
