backup on each file stops at 50% precislely

Hello there,

each time I try to do a backup by Sony companion or directly from the phone it stops suddenly.

When I do it from the phone with backup on SD card, all files stopped at 50%, not 50.2 or 50.9,all files are at 50% and nothing happen after.

I tried to backup without apps and thate worked. Could it be that there is a datalimit in the backup function?

I think the problem is the application! check if any Disabled application and enable them and try to run Back-up on your phone again it worked for me.

I have the same issue too so I enable all disabled applications and I restart. Unfortunately the backup stop at 50% again 😕

I stoped to search a fix and I swipe the data.

When I turn off APPS backup, it works. Tried to delete the Z3s backup file from Google Disk backup, Expected the file to reappear when the backup did run successfully without apps, however no new file popped up, so where did the backup go?

This is a problem flagged as SOLVED. However the tread does not contain a solution. This must be fixed. You cannot rely on a phone where backup does not work!

i ran it several times all appeared to freeze, then i selected a few basic ones, ran ok, note each gets to 50% until all have completed then all run up to 100% 

then i ran a full backup and it worked, it took ages though

Unfortunately it seems to be a common phenomenon on this Sony forum that topics are flagged as "solved" even when they are not. I wonder why..

This is a backup simulator. Don't tell us you are able to back up everything successfully.

My last xperia device. The Chinese are much better mobile phone makers.
