Update loop

Hi. This xz2 compact has successfully  installed latest android software, yet the phone continually prompts for the same update. I have let it update 5 times but it still goes on and on recommending the same update. I have tried clearing the cache of software  update and restarting but that doesn't work.  I want to avoid having to reset the phone as I will lose all my log-in. Can you please help fix this?

Besides the cache of the app have you tried also clearing the data and restart phone?

Are you sure the updates are the same (same build number)?
