Two questions about xz2

I have two wuestion

1 - can i use charger of Xperia X compact for my new xz2 compact? Are they compatible?

2- i want to charge my xz2 on night With the phone switched off. But can this mess up the battery? If the telephone is switched on Sony software know when battery is almost full and when I Wake up the battery is 100%...so, if i swithced off, The function is deactivated and the phone is charged over night... What can i do .?

1. I think it's safe to use Sony chargers from older devices to charge you XZ2, but the thing is it might not be as efficient. Newer devices will come equipped with more advanced charging technologies thus using the bundled charger might be faster.

2. If you charge while the phone is turned off, you are not benefitting from the built-in Battery care feature (which learn your charging pattern and adjust itself to prevent overcharging). What I'm suggesting is to turn on "Do not disturb" or even "Airplane" mode while sleeping to keep the phone switched on while charging. You can use "Xperia Actions" to make either of those modes activated automatically at specific times or events.
