Questions on Adaptive brightness

I have Adaptive Brightness turned on and using Xperia Actions Good night and let it adjust the britghtness to 0 %. But then the time interval ends, then display does not return to the same brightness as before.

If I turn off the Adaptive Brightness, there is no problem.

If you have "adaptive brightness" turned on and then change the brightness bar in the notification menu, what happens then? Does the "adaptive brightness" turn off? Or does the "adaptive brightness" learn from the input? Or something third?

@MichaelDenmark

I thought it will cancel Adaptive Brightness as you are taking control (of the brightness level), I'll see if I can find more info.

Hi @MichaelDenmark;

What I have learned from my use is that when you change the brightness with the adaptive brightness on you set the minimum value of brightness. For example, if you set the brightness to 50% even in complete darkness you will have the brightness at 50% with adaptive brightness on and if you go to sunlight the brightness automatically increases to maximum.

Hi @MichaelDenmark;

There is in fact a bug in the brightness level adjustment of the Good Night mode in Xperia Actions when Adaptive Brightness is turned on, making it not to adjust the brightness or when adjust it not returning to the original value when the cycle is over.

Does it matter if you set minimum to 50 % in darkness or sunlight?

Is it a bug that Sony knows about and maybe fixing?

@MichaelDenmark;

That I don't know because I don't see many people talking about this bug, but I am also facing it in my XZ Premium.

I always set the minimum brightness in dark environments.
