last software update ... a disaster

Hello,

Today at 6.30 pm I installed, upon request of my phone, Xperia XZ Premium, the latest software update.

It finished installing and it would have restart. But it didn't. And an error message is shown from time to time on my screen: Your device has failed verification and will not work properly. Your device will be powered off in 5 seconds. Sony Companion doesn't recognize it (it is shutt off of course). Please help me with this matter!!!

I already tried to use the sony companion software for the reparation of the software, unfortunately I arrive at the stage where I have to press the low volume and then connect it to the PC and the PC should recognize it but it doesn't...

normally companion repair mood doenst request phone switched on. then try to repair. i thinnk it will be work. or use flashtool

After yesterday's update my lock screen security doesn't work either the password, pattern or finger print. Anyone can unlock my phone. Great job Sony. Somebody should loose the job for a security bridge like that!!!

@Pawko can you please double check if you have any options enabled in Settings > Lock screen & security > Smart Lock?
