I have stock charger and sony fast charging cp-ad3 something like that. But it charge faster about 5 minutes compared to stock charger hahaha

Hi @JockerBean, welcome to our community!

Are you charging the phone using only the USB cable and a USB port on for example a computer? If you are, trying charging it using with original charger that was included together with your phone and a wall socket and see if you are experience that the charging goes faster.

According to the Environmental declaration document it takes around 2.55 hours to charge the phone from 0% to 100%, this is tested when the phone is powered off and charged using a wall socket.

If you power off the phone when you charge it or if you are using at the same time as it's charging the charging time may decrease and it will be charged a bit faster.

If you are interested in purchasing a quick charger I would recommend that you have a look at the UCH12W which is compatible with your Xperia XZ!

Thanks for the suggestion. But i wont trust sony anymore cause i already wasted in buying cp-ad3 that sony said just the same with uch12w. In fact sony xz still charge slow. Just dont tell people sony xz has fast charging. Because sony's so called fast charging is a lie

I'm not very familiar with the Sony cp-ad3 charger since this is a Sony Electronics product.

I have read about it and I can't find any information that it supports Qualcomm Quick charge 3.0 which is the quick charge method that Xperia XZ supports and will be used when charging your phone using UCH12W.

If you have any questions regarding your Sony cp-ad3 charger I'd recommend that you get in contact with your Sony Electronics local support team and they will answer any questions that you may have regarding this product.

Oh really? I also bought quick charger that supports qualcomm 3.0charge.. Also the same not even faster. And i already ask my friend that has uch12w to try it. And it is also the same. Now what u want to tell us? Obviously sony xz will not charge fast. Just admit it. Dont lie people

According to the information that i have available Xperia XZ supports Qualcomm Quick charge 2.0 and 3.0, you can read more about this in the technical specifications for the phone.

If you think there is something wrong with your phone or your charger, I'd recommend that you get in touch with your Local support team so they can arrange for you to have it sent to an authorized service centre so it can be examined by a technician.

Ya thats true about qualcomm 3.0 and another true thing is sony phone dont charge fast. Thats a fact. Sony just want people not think  thats why sony also say their phone also can charge fast. But i already try the uch12w and its faster about 10 minutes only compared to stock charger. Thats a shame. U know fast charging phone can charge at least 50% in 30 minutes. Sony only can 30% in 30 minutes. Thats not fast charging. Thats slow charging. And its a fact. I dont want people to waste their money being lied to sony.

Anyway Sony does charge fast upto 60% n then dips down.. Probably coz of qnovo charging... N I'm very happy with that.. It's good for the Longevity of the battery n helps keeping the temperature in check
