W995 and Googlemap

I have just acquired a W995 and I am trying to use the GSM facility.

I gave the phone an internet connection facility via Wifi to my home network then I tried to activate GSM.

The manual tells me to go menu>location services>google maps but I do not get that as an option.  It just lists Tracker; My favourites; Status info and Settings.

Please advise what I might be missing.

From main menu go to: Settings--Connectivity--Internet settings--Connect to: this is the data account that needs to be set according to your mobile carrier's settings.If you don't have this setting go to: Settings--General--Set up Wizard--Download settings: select this and the settings will be downloaded directly to your phone.Hope this helps.
