T715 contacts mix up

I have  serious problem with contacts getting repeatedly mixed up on a T715.

Every so often a contact will swap the number associated with it with another number.

The contacts are stored in phone memory and the contact that gets screwed up is different every time.

This is a real pain when you phone up expecting to talk to a friend and end up with someone completly different.

I have seen othe rusers with this problem and the apparent solution is to get a different phone.  Any alternative real fixes or is teh software on this phoen really thos bad.

First of all back up all your data and contacts etc then try a software update using Sony Ericsson Update Service and see if this resolves your problem. I have never heard of this fault myself so it might just be a software upgrade you are needing.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

This was one of the first things that I checked and the phone has the latest software.

I would also say that my wife has this phone and does not experience the problem - or if she does it is with a contact that she never uses :-). (she does however have a bit of a flaky slider which does not always lock the phone)
