sync my calender without internet

Hi there,

i ve got a Xperia x8 and want to synchronize my outlook calendar with my smartphone.

I downloaded PC Companion, but this wasnt what I m looking for.

I dont want to share my calendar with sony erricson or google or other services.

I would like to copy my calendar from my laptop to my x8.

How can I do that?

Is there a chance ?

Use a software named MyPhoneExplorer. Download the pc software from http://www.fjsoft.at/en/ and search in the market for phone version.

Well, i tried:

Android Sync.....MyPhoneExplorer .... HTC Sync .... nothing working

I ended up trying to install new Android Device Brigde Driver with an Android SDK,

but I think this is not the thing customers should be doing.

(try hour and hour to get something like drivers working)

To me it is a matter of course to have a synchronization tool installed that respects privacy,

but SE decided to collect the data of me and other customers.
(If they dont they would supply sync offline software)

In the end I m very disappointed.

I will send the smartphone back.

I am not sure of the availability of another applicationt to do this.

For those who do not know how to use MyPhoneExplorer

There are certain things to be done before using MyPhoneExplorer.

1. Download MyPhoneExplorer windows version and install on your PC.

2. Download MyPhoneExplorer on your mobile from Android Market.

3. On your phone. go to Settings> Applications> Development and check USB debugging.

4. Launch MyPhoneExplorer application on your phone.

5. Launch MyPhoneExplorer on your PC.

6. On the windows software go to File> Settings> Connection and select phone type to Android and connect via USB cable.

7.  After this connect your phone and PC using USB data cable.

8. On the windows software go to File> and click connect.

9. After successful connection click on the sync on the windows software (blue refresh button on left top).
