No replacement for X10 screen?

We would like to get clear answer why it is taking too long for Sony Ericsson to deliver the replacement part of X10 screen.  The authorized service center here in the Philippines was claiming that until yesterday October 25 the replacement part was still unavailable.

We have brought the unit to this service center on September 26.  The job order no. is 1132692 and the Sony Ericsson service center is Memoexpress.

Kindly please give us answer on the maximum number of days of waiting period for the replacement part - the screen panel to be delivered to the service center.

Thank you.

Hello,

I've forwarded this to our team in the Philippines. I will provide you whatever information I can when it is available, although I may not be able to provide exact timing.

First of all, thanks for the SE support team response to this message about no replacemet of X10 screen.  I do believe that I have a purpose on why I posted this problem in this website.  My purpose is clear to me and that is to bring to the attention of the SE company and its people that in any part of world where you do your business operation, always there is a certitude that customer is to demand quality workmanship because it is what your name stands for.  And when a service center, an authorized service center, does not deliver the kind of quality standard that SE your company is worth is name then it becomes every customer worth his or her salt to demand explanation what more when hard earned money is involved in purchasing your good.  In my case, I am not satisfied with how the service center has handled the repair of our X10.  It does not practice first and foremost giving a copy to the customer of the terms and conditions that guides the transaction on the repair.  The only thing that it gives to the customer is a piece of paper that has claim terms and conditions and specifically detailing that within a certain period of time the unit that is in its service center repair can be disposed of if not claimed within the timeframe.  Will it be not helpful if the service center provides the customer with the terms and conditions and the specific detail of the first stage of repair and the corresponding part or component to be repaired and with the service fee involved for this procedure.  Customers do know that a certain repair does not guarantee total repair of the item and, therefore, they are interested to know the process of repair to be covered for the first of a series of repair and the corresponding time period of waiting for its completion as well as the fee or charge for that repair.  With the way technology is fast  moving forward, I am sure that any customer is only glad to be educated as to what specification exactly is a unit has for every important component is has and this is very true in the case of X10 and other similarly newly developed cell phones.  It is beyond my understanding how a glass panel can be easily broken.  But that is beside the point considering that the upon purchase the unit in working condition.  But it is still beyond my comprehension why a broken glass screen cannot be replace within a determinable span of time considering that we are in fast pace technology world.  What happens to the one day or same day delivery of parcel or cargo that global trading in its advanced stage has come to develop and offer all in the name of free trade?  Well, I hope you do understand my predicament.
