Hmm - this is one of the wish list items for me..

Coming from Nokia where the PC suite allows for proper desktop sync and basically one can access  the phonebook and read/edit/send SMS's from the PC desktop - the Xperia PC companion has lots of room for improvement.

The only way I've been able to 'Sync'...   (not without problems) is  sync frpm PC to google  (Google has calendar sync for that), then set the x10 to sync with Google.  Not perfect but better than a kick in the teeth - typing in lots of contacts.

Hope this helps.

Re: Using Microsoft Outlook, both contacts and calendar, with Experia X10

Hi,

There is a application called Android Sync that, via USB cable, can sync Xperia X10 with Outlook locally.

The application can be downloaded from the URL http://www.android-sync.com/

There is also a application that is called Companion Link and can be found via the link below: http://www.companionlink.com/products/companionlinkforgoogle.html This is a 14 days trial application that allows you to synchronize   your  contacts from Outlook to your Google Account, then you can sync   via  Google Sync in your phone.

A .csv file can be exported from Outlook and then imported to existing Gmail account. (This only works with contacts.)
