How to update Track ID software

Hi,

My Track ID software has never worked, which is a real bummer cos I love that app.

When I record my 10 second snippet, it returns an error message that says:

"An error occured. Please update to a new version of the software. For instructions, please contact Sony Ericsson."

I am assuming that this problem will not be solves in the 2.1 update, they don't update apps too, do they? So I need to find out where I can download a new version of Track ID. No luck on Android Market.

I don't know how to update that individual piece of software but have you tried doing a repair / reset via  Sony Ericsson Update Service.  This will wipe your phone to factory settings so ensure that you back up or sync your contacts etc.  This may put right the problem on TrackID.
