Dissapointment

I was really looking forward to get this phone, but as people have already voiced in this forum, it lets down on many of the basic features.

Some of the issues i have:

My phone turns itself off when I select the camera option every other time i click it.

The camera has a black line running down the middle of the lens and it is not physical damage as I have not dropped it once or harmed it in any way. Its a software issue.

Battery is appauling.

Just a dissapointment, now looking for others on market. I would not reccomend the mini pro, as you dont need this much hassle from a mobile phone.

Can you not return the phone for repair under warranty via your retailer or carrier if you are experiencing these problems?

I assume you have tried updating the software via Sony Ericsson Update Service, which will factory reset your phone and reinstall the software.  It will wipe your phone so ensure you take the right backup precautions first.

The battery isn't the greatest, but if you allow the battery to fully discharge and make sure you have nothing running you don't require you will get approx 60% better battery.
