I had a similar problem with the W395 and it was fixed by a master reset. However, there is no update service for the W395, an option which you have for the xperia.

My check list would be....

Contact O2 to ensure settings are OK.  (Tmobile will send a text with the correct settings on - don't know if O2 will do the same)

Try a third party app, maybe Handcent SMS free from the market and see if this does the trick.

If all else fails try a repair/reset via Sony Ericsson Update Service or via PC Companion.

If that doesn't solve it then send it back for a repair via O2 or your retailer.

It must be very frustrating, so I hope you get sorted.

Ya I have been having the same issues. I have a c905 and it's brand new and can't connect to internet or get picture msg's. I called SOny Ericsson & At&t and none of them will do anything to help, it's absolutly retarded and I have no clue what to do. Any answers from anywhere would help

try what i type up in posts. may it's not same as in c905 as in x10 but you may understand something.
