Camera button

Hello, I just bought the Xperia, I am really happy with it. Everything has worked perfectly;however, I think my phone has a problem with the camera.

Basically, the button on the right-hand side of the phone is not working, when I press it the camera doesn't appear, and the only way that I have to take pictures is with the touch screen a not with that button, because when i press it, the square in the middle becomes green and the phone makes a sound.

Do I have to configure it? or my phone has a problem?

Camera button is two stage one, a light press to point an object and focusing and hard press to take picture, did you press to the last position?

That cannot be considered as stupidity. It can happen to anyone. You are going to love this phone as you get used to it.

have a look in the camera settings - try 'touch capture' - it makes the camera a bit more responsive.

You should also download Vignette from the marketplace - much better than the standard camera
