Spare parts of housing cost a fortune

Why can't the housing parts of xperia x be replaced.?Why do we have to pay almost a small fortune to the whole housing? BEZELS. CANNOT BE REPLACED, which is REALLY annoying...

are you referring to the Xperia X housing or are you referring to the LCD and digitizer?

To the best of my knowledge, I don't believe Sony sell spare parts directly to the consumer. 

Doing a quick search online the frames being sold from third parties don't seem that expensive, though I cannot guarantee their authenticity.

What is the issue with your phone? You may wish to contact your Local support team to arrange an authorised repair.

I am referring the bottom part of the housing, 2 cm long covering around the USB port. But the Sony official technician says replacement of that tiny part is out of question and I must purchase the whole housing with lcd panel, which I think is really nonsense. If it is true what he says, replacement of such parts with cosmetic reasons will cost you a small fortune...

Personally there is nothing to discuss. They will probably say it is a matter of policy anyway such a thing is too ridiculous to discuss. I can't pay that amount for a tiny part and whatever they call it policy or something else, I really hate it and I will consider and remember it when I decide which brand I will prefer for me and my family

May be they call them bezels, two on the sides, one up and the other at the bottom I wanted to replace the bottom part on which there is the USB for charging
