sony xperia x accelerometer and light sensor not working

after the software update (v. 34.4.A.2.70) both my accelerometer and light sensor have stoped working. i have gone through all the setting and reset them with no luck.  when i go the service menu the accelerometer is stuck at 0.00 on all thre axis. any troubleshooting to fix this?
