led notifications after nougat

I've updated my Xperia X to Nougat and ever since that notification led is not working properly with some of the apps such as twitter and whatsapp.

After clearing all the data and restoring configuration, the problem continues.

Can anybody help me?

I am using the Xperia X compact and am seeing the same issue. When an app is supposed to pulsate the LED on a notification, the blinking does not happen on Nougat. Instead I just see the LED turn on once while the phone is vibrating, then nothing. It worked fine yesterday before I upgraded from Marshmallow.
