led notifications after nougat

I've updated my Xperia X to Nougat and ever since that notification led is not working properly with some of the apps such as twitter and whatsapp.

After clearing all the data and restoring configuration, the problem continues.

Can anybody help me?

is it similar to your previous post on twitter, facebook, etc notiications issues?

That about notifications was on my previous device. It was a Xperia Z1 Compact.

I'm using a Xperia X, right now. Notifications arrive and show properly but led light is not shining. It shines when I recive calls or sms but doesn't work with notifications from apps.

Yes, that's true,  use custom apps for that,  for example Light Flow etc.

I've changed some of the settings in whatsapp and I've found out that when notification sound is set in "no sound", led notification doesn't appear. But when I choose any other sound, it works.

I'm not sure if the problem comes from Android, Sony or the apps, but I hope someone fixes it soon.

I've had the same problem. It works very occasinally. It's not instant, almost like it requires a 'push'. My previous Xperia Z worked perfectly. Pah. Got a new X and Whatsapp LED never shows, tried with all the notification settings. Rubbish.

Do you have any battery app or stamina mode enabled?

When battery is working on full mode it also happens.

Definitely it's a bug from Nougat.

Hope they fix it soon.
