How do I add ringtones to a Sony Xperia X phone?

I have a Sony Xperia X phone but I cannot change or install new ringtones. I tried to add a ringtone, the phone said "choose your account", I chose and followed but still failed. I also cannot add Zedge ringtones. Can I download music here? Please help me!

You must create a folder "Ringtones" on the internal memory on your phone. Then add your ringtones in it. You will be able to find your ringtones normally, after that, in the settings menu to use them for everything. Calls ringtones etc.

You don't need a choice of ringtones collected from the internet, you can use any song on your phone no matter how long it is.

It is correct how @BrolasBrolas explained, however you can also scroll to the bottom and select +Add a ringtone, then scroll through your phones internal memory or SD and select whatever song you like.
