Sony Xperia Tablet Z Email Client

This is a request to the Sony tablet team to improve their User Interface for the default email client.  I cannot believe how appalling it is, compared to iOS.  If the Sony Tablet Z is to be a serious alternative to the iPad for business users, the email client HAS to support some basic things:

1) When replying to an email, I need to be able to insert my reply anywhere within the original email text.  The default email application does not allow me to do this.  I can only append my email reply at the top.  This is a serious drawback, almost rendering the email client useless.

2) When composing a new email or a reply in landscape or portrait mode, why does the email client not use the entire width of the screen? The email client wastes almost 50% of the screen space available in whitespace.  There is a small box displayed within which I am allowed to type atmost 48 characters.

Well, that has nothing to do with Sony, its Google's email client.  There are many others in the Play Store.
