Hello.I have the NW-A306 about a year ago.I noticed the next issue when i install a firmware update :I download normally the latest update.Appears a display message for ''restart my device to complete the installation'' and clik> ok.After the restarting ,i clik >about my device and appears the number of the latest version ,so i quess that the latest version is installed.......But when i clik again to >system>updates and clik> searching, appears again the display message for '' restart my device to complete the installation''.Ι restart my device for a second time, and this ''message for restarting'' does not appear again. What it happens? Is any issue with my device? Is a bug-notification(wrong alarm)? The update is not installed with the first restarting? That happens with all (3-4) firmware updates after purchasing.I forgot to tell you ,that i have my walkman connect to usb port while updating but i think ,i had chosen (at least today ,that i instatlled the version 3.00.01) the setting ''transfer data'', not ''not data transfer'' ,or ''usb DAC''.Τhere is a possibility that this is causing the issue?Generally when i want to update the firmware and connect my walkman to a usb port which option should choose?1) Not transfer data(just charge this device)? 2) File transfer 3)Or usb dac?Thank you
@vasilisnik I believe file transfer, because USB DAC is related to the playbacks it's not related to update the software. Also, I found steps to update the software to see if they are helpful for you: https://helpguide.sony.net/dmp/1301/v1/en/contents/TP1000733537.html?search=software
