NWZ-E474 display broken?

My Walkman, which I had as a Christmas present, has been fine, but suddenly the display does not work at all. All I get is a red (or sometimes green) vertical line on the right hand side. Makes it impossible to use. Should I take it to a Sony shop for repair, or is there a fix?

Just to update this post, I took the Walkman back to the dealer, and they replaced it without any bother. Back in business again, hopefully for longer this time!
