WLAN doesn't work, but LAN does. Why ?

I've had my Vaio for 3 years now I think ( VGN-NR31E ). Sometimes the WLAN and the LAN stopped working so the only solution for me was to restore complete system. Now, I haven't been able to surf the internet for 3 weeks when connected to WLAN. I can connect to LAN and it works fine. I've tried everything ! Checking the switch and vaio smart network, doing everything that I've read on the "support pages" that can be done, and even bought a new router !

I restored my C:drive in hope to solve the problem. Nope ! The weird thing is, now when I open firefox or explorer when surfing with LAN - cable, my computers perfomance gets very slow  and the web browsers "get stuck".

Help !

What is there else for me to do ?

i get the same and so do hundreds maybe thousnds others... look on sony US they have the same issue...

and as yet with no solution...
