I've spilt wine on my laptop. It doesn't power on any more. Am I buggered? Is it likely that anything has survived? If anything has survived, do you think the rest of the system could be repaired or does this kind of thing generally mean it's irrepairable?

Let it dry out for a few days, you might well be able to power up again.
Once it's back on - backup all your files and have it checked out.
