Where's the software?

Just bought a new A317S, but none of the software mentione don the spec sheet was included. Am I missing something (as in CDs) or is that downloadable sum place? Anyone knows?

You must burn your recovery DVDs. There you can find the preinstalled Software.

ahem, sorry to ask this stupid question. i know how to burn a cd, but how do i burn a recovery cd... - i mean, the machine came w/out *any* cd at all... and no dvd's either, recovery or otherwise. can't even burn anything (from what, it gotta be sum place first). and yes, it's a brandnew machine.

no idea:smileyblush: I needed never to burn a recovery DVD. Because older VAIOs came with a recovery DVD.

Maybe a other VAIO user can help here better.:smileyhappy:

Congratulation on your new 'A Series..

Btw to burn a recovery dvd you will need about 7 cd-r or 1 dvd-r. Go to start/all programs/vaio recovery tools/vaio recovery utilities.exe and it will show you how to do it.

For all others info..manuals/spec etc etc it will be in the my documentation which is located at your vaio launcher.
