Hello,
I have only just started using my laptop for games, of which I have three Colin MaCrae Rally 2005, Juiced and GTA San Andreas.
In the beginning I had to turn down all the graphic settings to get the games to run smooth and also turn down the Hardware Acceleration for the Audio, as I was getting a clicking sound on GTA and Jucied. I thought that this was a reasonabily spec'ed laptop and thought it should be better.
I have since updated the Go 6400 graphics driver about 5 times with different .inf files to adjust performance, which I am reasonably happy with (downloaded from laptops2go), as I now have all the graphics settings turned up to max. I still get the irritating clicking sound on Juiced and CM Rally.
How can I get rid of this noise? and are my drivers up to date?
Drivers are GeForce Go 6400 Ver 8.2.1.2 Date 19/12/2005
and Realtek HD Audio Ver 5.10.0.5211 Dated 13/01/2006
Any help appreciated
