VGP-PRA1 Port Replicator Issues

I have a VGN-A197VP Notebook with a VGP-PRA1 port replicator.

Does anyone know how to close the lid of the notebook when it is docked with an external VGA or DVI monitor with external keyboard & mouse attached?

I'd like to be able to slide the notebook away when in the office, I used to be able to do this with my old HP notebook & docking station as it had an external power up button on the docking station but cannot see how to do it on the Vaio...Please help.
