I cannot seem to scroll up and down pages anymore using the lateral side of the touch pad and i cannot figure out where the configuration options for the touchpad are as they dont seem to be in the mouse applet on control panel.
Can anyone shed any light please?
Have you checked that you have the correct mouse installed in the device manager.
Start > Control panel > System > Device Manager, I think it should state something like 'Alps Pointing Device for Vaio'.
