SONY VAIO VISTA DRIVER vs NVIDIA

Anybody out there that can advise me on wat is the best driver to use.

Currently installed the latest driver for the Nvidia 7600 169.25 but this does not seem to work with hdmi I've got it conected via conpnent at the moment. The DISPLAY CONTROL PANEL does not let me re size the screen correctly and accrding to E support there should be options for re scale etc However this is not the case.

Does anybody now if the lastest offering on the Sony VAIO site is the same driver as above ?

If not ? Does aybdy know how to install it correctly. Does it install itself via Install wizard or do I have o manually install it. Tried the way sony suggested with no results. They stated to downoad the driver Save it. Delete the Nvidia driver from the program menu and then install the new drver. tried this but just makes the sctreen go a florousent green colour and has o options in the display menu for Nvidia
