Sony Vaio Battery

I was wondering what battery would fit in the Sony Vaio SVE1513C5E i made the stupid mistake of disposing the broken battery before i got a new one if anyone knows the battery part number that would be fantastic

Hi Alex,

The Vaio E series uses the VGP-BPS26A battery.

Thanks for the reply been trying to find the right battery for ages there seems to be a 10.8v and a 11.1v one does it matter which on i use?

Hi Alex,

I believe the battery that came fitted originally (VGP-BPS26) was 10.8Volt 4400mAh / 6-Cell but the newer VGP-BPS26A is 11.1 Volt 5300mAh /6-Cell. Either is compatible but make sure it is a genuine Sony battery or you can expect problems.
