I use SBH56 headset via bluetooth on my laptop. I paired it via "Bluetooth & other devices" manager in win10. It is ask me a pin to connect. It is ok, he is insert randomly generated PIN automatically i just press "add" and no problem. But when i go away or just turn off laptop - connection obviously interrupted. And when i return or turn on laptop - sometime connection restored automatically, some-time i need turn off SBH56 and turn on it again to restore connection - it is ok. BUT sometime win 10 ask me PIN again! And this is annoying!!!
Can i somehow disabled asking pin? or may be press "add device" automatically? This is absolutely useless function, i don't want input PIN every day, some time twice in one day etc. I am already paired devices - why he ask pin again?
Have you tried using the headset on a different device? or a different headset with the same laptop?
yes i use this headset with my smartphone - and it is no problem with PIN.
And yes, i have other headset, noname brand -and it is not ask PIN every time. But i use it rarely, may be 1 time in month, so may be it is just not annoying me as everyday enter pin in SBH56.
So, can i disabe pin at all? for all device and forever?
The pin request cannot be disabled, it's how the devices pair.
That said, you might want to double check with the laptop support why this keeps happening since it works fine with another device.
Hope this helps!
