I'm having problems copying some video footage I took myself of some trees onto DVD can ayone help?
Or SO-19 when they do a house call.
Having problems too !!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm having problems with a new PC-V1 writing DVDs using the Click to DVD software supplied.
I've created a movie using GigaPocket and I've tried using a -R and -RW disk and get to the writing to hard disk phase and it just hangs - left it running for over 12 hours and no joy?
Any suggestions on how to resolve, or alternatives to burning TV movies to DVD?
Update your click 2 dvd to the newest version.
Tried that and updated to version 4, but no luck.
Stephen,
I think I've fixed the problem, well I've been able to write a DVD-R without a burn fail at writing leadout. I've not tried an RW yet.
What I did was download an ASPI checker which told me that ASPI was not installed. I then downloaded the latest ASPI drivers from adaptec (4.6, although I understand there's a 4.72 but I couldn't find this) and installed them. First burn I tried with a -R was succesful. I'm going to try an RW tonight and I'll let you know what happens.
Still won't play in my PS2 though, though this may be to do with the quality of the disc.
Cheers
Tried an RW last night, burnt OK first time with no errors. Looks like the ASPI thing fixed it. Now just got to get some decent media.
Thats great news.
Dear v23
Thanks for the advice, glad that the -RW worked as well. Unfortunately, it didn't work for me. I installed the latest 4.7 drivers, but it still hung on the Writing to Hard Disk phase.
It's getting somewhat frustrating now (especially as the Sony e-support are at least 2 steps behind you !!!)
Any more ideas??
Have you installed the update for the Matshita UJ-810 drive? It should be available on vaio-link. Click here, click accept at the bottom of the page and download the file, install that, re-install the ASPI thing again. That's all I can suggest.
Hope it works
