Hi,
I've tried contacting Sony with reference to my VAIO...
I've got a problem with typing, all of a sudden the cursor will jump and I'll still be typing to the text gets all messed up. Apparently its a common problem with Dell computers, but its happning to my Sony which is really annoying.
I'm a Uni Student so I can't afford to have the cursor jumping everywhere when I'm typing assignments. It happens on the net, excel, word, powerpoint, everywhere.
Has anyone got a solution?
Is it the computer or could it be the Norton software?
Sades

Hi Sades,
welcome to Club Vaio..
Two things to check please..
1. Press the windows key+R to open the Run box type devmgmt.msc and press OK
Click Continue on the User Account Control window.
Is there a pointing device or PS2 mouse listed..?
2. Click Start, then all programs, then Vaio Control Centre..
Click Continue on the User Account Control window..
On the Vaio Control Centre expand Keyboard and Mouse..
Then double click on Mouse..
In the Mouse Properties window select the Function tab.
select the Tapping Tab and make sure the Tap Off when Typing box is checked.
When I go to:
Control Panel
Mouse
When I click on the mouse it says it can't connect to the driver...
Does that mean anything?
