Problem with function keys and buttons...help!!!

I have a Vaio PCGZ1RMP and suddenly the function keys seem to have stopped working meaning I can't toggle between monitor and LCD or do any of the other functions like volume, mute etc. Also the special buttons which put it into standby don't work either?

I havne't knowingly altered any settings...is there a way of disabling these that I'm not aware of so I can re-enable them??????

Check the language settings havent changed to US or something like that.

Try uninstalling the keyboard from the system hardware in control panel.

Also what you could do is try a non destrutive system restore, if that doesnt work do a full wipe and restore.

You need to find and run Hotkey.exe - search for it on your HDD, if not there it will be on your recovery disks and on www.vaio-link.com
