Yes you can use the car charger, the voltage a PCG-GRT815E needs is 19.5V, dont ask me how i know, because i have the laptop!!!

I hope someone can
help me with this little Problem......

My Ac Apapter gots an output of 19.5 V
I found an Universal Notebook Car Adapter for 30 EUR at
Reichelt.de
Its adjustable for 16/17/18/19/20 V
Would it work or maybe damage with less or more Voltage???
The Vaio Sites tells there is no Car Eqiupment!!!

Consider looking at Targus too.
Personally I'm not sure if 19v would be safe, I wouldn't really chance it.

I dont understand why there is no Car Equipment,
