Optical Mouse

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-A195HP which comes without a mouse. Can I buy an optical mouse and use it with this machine?

Took a look on the Sony website. Your laptop has XP and USB ports. I use an optical mouse that I already had for another computer. If it's USB plug it up and XP will automaticly install the drivers for it. It's plug'n'play so you can use it without restarting.
